Centre of Excellence (CoE) at Kameshwar Narayan Singh Government Polytechnic, Samastipur, was established in 2021 in collaboration with IIT Patna, with the objective of promoting advanced technical education, practical learning, innovation, and skill development among students.

The CoE is focused on 3D Printing Technology and Additive Manufacturing and is equipped with modern SLA (Stereolithography) and FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D Printers. The facility provides students with hands-on exposure to modern 3D printing techniques and rapid prototyping.

Students can use the facility to develop prototypes, create engineering models and components, convert CAD designs into physical objects, and undertake innovative academic and project work. It enables students to transform their ideas into functional prototypes and develop practical skills in design, modelling, and additive manufacturing.

The CoE also encourages students to explore innovative applications of 3D printing, undertake project-based learning, and gain practical experience with emerging manufacturing technologies. This helps bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application and enhances students’ creativity, problem-solving abilities, and industry-oriented technical skills.
